Dr. Michael Timothy Zanone, MD

I was feeling worried about how long I had been sick. Dr. Zanone put me on an antibiotic that finally got rid of my lung infection. His office staff is kind and helpful.

I have been going to this clinic since they opened . It use to be a great clinic . Now it is not. It get's harder to see a DOCTOR and the office staff is very rude and slow to do their jobs . They do not keep up with updating your file to make sure all of the info they need is up to date . I have quit going to them and my children who have gone to them for years also who are now grown with their own families have stopped going for the same issues

Dr. Zanone let me take as much time as I needed to ask questions and he was very patient. He asked a wide range of questions concerning my ailment, was very thorough and helpful. I was very, very pleased with him.

It's obvious when you walk in that he's a popular doctor. I expected the wait to be awhile, but it was not at all. He manages to give each patient as much time as necessary, while keeping wait time low! It's clear his job is stressfull and hectic given the number of patients he has, but he never lets it show in the exam room. I've had other very busy doctors, but their stress shows and you feel as though you're being rushed out. Not with Dr. Z. Other reviewers should be understanding and respectful of the fact that slip-ups happen, and condemning a good doctor won't change that. If a general practicioner has no wait time, it often means he has few patients. I take Dr. Zanone's consistent popularity as a clear indication of his skill and likeability. Keep up the good work Dr. Z!!!

I have gone to Southern Family Medical several times over the years...I normally see the nurse Practitioner but the times I do see Dr. Zanone are pleasant visits. He sat down and talked to me and answered any questions I had, he is very nice and if someone has had an unpleasant visit, it probably isnt because of the doctor. The only problem I do have with this office is the front desk help. I dont feel that some of them are very polite they never smile at you and they aren't personable. I just feel that a smile can go a long way.

I went to this physician and was hysterically at the end of my rope. I was crying and told them I was in pain and severely depressed and needed some help that I could not take it anymore! After being triaged by the nurse and waiting for 15 mintues for the doctor to come and see me, I was told by someone else that he does not manage chronic pain and I could go up front and get my co-pay check returned to me! I think this is totally unacceptable!!!!!! What if I had been suicidal? I left in hysterics and felt so rejected. I can't believe they did not even refer me somewhere or even at lest give me a number to call! Ridiculous....
