Dr. Michaelanne Elizabeth Briggs, MD

One could not want more from a thoroughly professional dentist. I've had several extractions with minimal trauma, which translates into fast, relatively painless recovery.

I went to Dr. Briggs after having a tooth pulled by another dentist. I was in terrible pain, sometime absolute agony, and my dentist couldn't help. Dr. Briggs listened to me - very important - and was very patient with me - I have a very low pain threshold and I metabolize pain meds quickly. After the usual Xrays, the first thing she did was treat the pain. I had relief in less than 12 hours. I saw her several times after that and she was always patient with me and worked on the pain. Finally I had to have a second tooth pulled and she discovered a sliver of dead bone left by the first dentist which was part of the problem. She also discovered a second serious problem and put me on some heavy duty antibiotics which have knocked all the pain out. Still working with her on a problem caused by another drug I was taking totally unrelated to my teeth. I highly recommend her and would never go elsewhere. Again - - she listens and listening helped solve my problem.

I loved the feel of the office. It was very comfortable, and home feeling office. My daughter was relaxed (very surprising) with Dr.Briggs. The front staff had our insurance quotes ready to go. Very reasonable pricing as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience !

Dr. Briggs placed two implants for me, and both failed. I went through many hours of disco,fort and left with the second Implant removed. I would not recommend her in any way. At one visit, I was heavily sedated and allowed to leave the office and drive home. The staff told me to "be careful." This was after I was told that the doctor had left the premises. What a disgrace!

I went to Dr. Briggs office needing to have my teeth removed due to medical problems. I knew I would have to argue with the insurance company about the needed surgery but when after two months of waiting and requesting their expected denial I am told that there had been no request for surgery. I was told by Tanya Dr Briggs nasty office help.... that she wasn't going to waste her time on my case. she said the insurance company had told her not to file for the surgery.... it was ok to waste my time. leaving me in unspeakable pain... and having to start the process over.... oh well the insurance didn't pay them for my two office visits... as a health care professional I would not recommend this office to anyone in real need.

Dr. Briggs as well as her office staff were unprofessional and rude. They called to change my appointment after it had been scheduled. They called and left an appoinment reminder voicemail and left the wrong time on the message. My appointment was at 7:45, I arrived at 7:35 with all paperwork completed and still had to wait 45 minutes. When Dr. Briggs entered the room she did not look at me or shake my hand.I was in need of jaw surgery and was told various times that they would call with the surgery date. I had to call them repeatedly and it was one excuse after another. The final straw was when they told my husband that they hadn't had a chance to verify the insurance because they were hanging Christmas lights! After 2 weeks we left and found another surgeon.

If you are considering this doctor prepare yourself to be very disappointed. I have never seen a more unprofessional staff and inconsiderate bunch of people. After dealing with the office personel personal issues for a week we finally pulled out and found another qualified doctor.

On the day of surgery upped the price. Refused to honor their written price. Kept my daughter waiting, in the treatment room, for over 30 minutes while the office manager argued the price and offered a payment plan for ...the additional charge. My daughter has anxiety disorder, Dr Briggs knew this, and kept my daughter waiting until I finally relented and paid the addition $300+ dollars.Bait and switch and unethical business tactics. Questionable allegiance to her Hippocratic oath (First do no harm). Brought the price issue to Dr Briggs attention, she told me if she charged me the amount of the written price she would be committing "insurance fraud". I called our insurance company and they said that was not the case. Sent Dr Briggs a letter informing her that she could charge anything she… wanted as long as it was not "greater" than the insurance rate....discounts do not amount to fraud. Besides, I was not seeking a discount, but rather that the doctor honor her written quote to me.
