Utilizing his more than 10 years experience and cutting edge technology, Dr. Malek will diagnose the source of your back or neck pain and explain to you why you hurt and how to correct the problem.

In his practice, Dr. Malek stresses conservative, non-invasive or minimally invasive management of spine and pain disorders. Surgical intervention is used only after all lesser invasive procedures have failed.

Dr. Malek specializes in epidural steroid injections, discography, minimally invasive spine surgery, complex recontructive surgery, vascular and cancer surgery, and second opinion consultations.

We offer medical and surgical treatment of acute and chronic pain, low back pain, back and neck disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated discs and failed back surgery.

All he cared about was how much money he can make. I then found out that his medical license is suspended and he left his wife and kids and doesn't pay child support. I can't trust a doctor like that.

I had a very invasive back surgery at St Mary's KKK in 2002. My surgery took between 12-15 hours or so. I had 3 herniated disc lower back dew to automobile accident. I was in pain 27/7 popping pain pills due to my greater than 10 pain level. I was miserable. Thanks to Dr. Malek knowledgeable Neuro experience, today I feel great. He help me regain confidence and be pain free almost everyday thru my life style after surgery. The Hammond IN and KKK staff were warm courteous. I work in the medical field myself and understand doctors do encounter emergency situations, I greatfull "God" most of all and second to DR Malek for being there when I most needed him.

I am so grateful to my Brother in law for referring me to Dr. Malek. After seeing quite a few doctors, and 2 botched surgeries, I had given up hope of finding a doctor to even attempt to relieve my horrible back and nerve pain. I was given morphine pump or nerve stimulator options by other physicians. Dr. Malek found the issues and operated. He is a life saver! I can not adequately express how grateful I am to him and his whole office for all they have done, and continue to do for me. Everyone is polite, happy, and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Malek and his team.

The doctor was over 45 minutes late; Afterwards, I had spent maybe five minutes in the room with him, in which he seemed not to really care at all about me, the patient, and more to to get his day going quickly.He did not evaluate the proper reports and concluded something incorrectly without hesitation.I am very displeased with this doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Malek's for almost 3 years and if it was not for him I would not be walking today. His staff is knowledgeable and takes time to answer any questions one might have. Dr. Malek moves fast but he makes sure that you are part of the family after treating with him.

Was able to fully return to work and activities following my micro discectomy. I had debilitating pain before surgery. Excellent surgeon.

He is a careless surgeon, he only cares out how much money he is being paid. After 3 failed fusions for my brother who is now paralyzed, Malek wanted to do more on the low back.
