Dr. Michel Matouk

The entire experience was great for my son's procedure; Dr Matouk was fantastic, and the results are awesome. Thats where it stopped for me; after all the pre-authorizations and out-of-pocket expenses the Hospital billed for another $4400.00. This was after we paid $7500 to Matouk's office. After months of back-and-forth with Matouk's billing department and countless conversations with the Hospital and insurance my son was sent to collections (18 years old). Insurance company claims it's Matouk's office that made the error and we should actually be owed money. Matouk's office hasn't taken any further action to resolve the problem. Somehow after all of the authorizations, we are expected to pay 65% more out of pocket than we were quoted to resolve the collections issue.

Simple: Matouk is an amazing oral surgeon. His work is flawless and, to top it, he's a very nice person. In addition, he is assisted by a very professional and efficient staff that make the patient feel at home. His office is state of the art and clean as a whistle. I highly recommend Dr Matouk

This surgeon's Lefort-1 3-piece jaw fracture surgery left me with a slanted anterior and slanted posteriors. His office was not transparent with me and sent me altered x-rays. To this day, I have not been able to get his botched jaw surgery corrected and highly caution anyone looking for this type of surgery to consider my case.
