Sucher is ethically compromised (as other comments have stated). The Arizona Board of Medicine protects him despite his persistently unethical behavior (see other comments - I found him to be in cahoots with other providers). I do expect this review to remain posted.

I strongly encourage you to consider an alternative physician if you desire optimal care provided with integrity.

I was urged to see Sucher by a board for a problem years back. I was sober and happy with a great marriage, no current issues. Sucher recommended inpatient treatment, $1000/day. The owner is a crony. Sucher committed substandard care per ASAD HANDBOOK OF ADDICTION MEDICINE. Professional boards love extortion. Do not practice in AZ.

I found Dr. Michael Sucher to be unreliable and uninformed. I had a DUI that was later downgraded to reckless driving. My lawyer advised me to report the arrest to the Arizona State Dental Board who then referred me to Dr. Sucher, the doctor in charge of the substance abuse division for the Dental Board. The rehab center he referred me to did a less than thorough examination of my medical condition which resulted in a misdiagnosis of my health. They then proceeded to contact my wife and inform her of this misdiagnosis which led to unnecessary stress and worry on her behalf. Due to this incompetence I chose to seek out a more reputable and reliable center which was working, and has worked out, very well for me. Dr. Sucher concluded my choice was not an adequate alternative, regardless of the fact it was working and I am currently sober and healthy.

Doesn't take insurance-you have to pay $280 out of pocket to talk to the Dr. And all he does is send you to community bridges for treatment. He's the director of community bridges and provides no treatment at his office

A fake and selfcentered individua' who lacks any compassion towards most of mankind. A grredy pompous man who due to his lack of life experiences and projected lower level of intelligence must not hold a posiyion of authority. HIS METHODS OF TESTING, ANALIZING,EVALUATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS ON EACH INDIVIDUAL'S SPECIFIC CASE ARE FAULTY AND DEFINATLY BIAS.

I was referred to Dr Sucher by a professional board for an evaluation. It took 3 weeks of phone tag to schedule an appointment with him. When I arrived to the office, I noticed it was outdated and unkempt. The fee for his 20 minute evaluation was $1,000 in addition to screening fees. He only excepted cash, checks, or a credit card which there would be a 5% fee for using. Although his bedside manner was pleasant, I can't help but be disgusted with his business ethics. I feel he takes advantage of people who are in a tough situation

This doctor charges other doctors $900/month to be in his substance abuse monitoring program. That fee just went up from $605/month and that was state sanctioned robbery.
