Dr. Michele Babin

Stay clear! She constantly cuts you off while you try to talk about sensitive information. She gaslights you if you are sad or depressed. She then threatens to not prescribe any medication if you are struggling. A control freak, a narcissist, and completely careless of her patients emotions. Do not recommend.

She can come off as abrasive, but this doesn’t diminish her professionalism and knowledge. She is eager to help you feel better and function well. Babin is good at filling out paperwork for various disability short-term or long-term. She does appreciate complete honesty from her patients, which should be par for the course when seeing psychs. She’s kept my hard to treat bipolar, PTSD and anxiety under control and always asks me how I feel my meds are doing and will adjust them on the spot if I don’t feel well. One of the best in the city IMO

Dr. Babin only gets ahold of you when she feels necessary. She blames her patients in any and every situation. She didn't refill my prescription in time then blamed me for it (multiple times) Her personally is awful and she is very rude. It makes you wonder why she choose a field that deals with people everyday and thier emotions. Staff is bad and you can never get through when calling. Any big decisions that was made, YOU will usually have to call and find out the answer due to her lack of caring.

Staff rude and unhelpful. Wait times are 45+ and her bedside manner is severely lacking in empathy. Has no time to speak with a patient in crisis unless she decides its "enough of a crisis" to warrant her attention. She actually slammed her door after I left her office. completely unprofessional as are the whole Medpsych team. Be aware.
