Dr. Michele Dawn Fleak, MD

When asking if I could switch providers to the nurse practitioner due to an unpleasant interaction with Doctor Fleak, she told me no, "because too many patients are leaving Cleveland clinic mercy hospital ." Well, yes,I'm leaving regardless now because you're spiteful and have no bedside manner.

She took too long with her previous patient, who continued to talk as she tried to leave the room -- I could hear everything through the walls. So I guess she was trying to make up time during my appointment. She walked in and i was very clearly crying; I have some personal things going on right now. She looked at me and rudely said "you look tired." I said no, I'm depressed. She did ask what was going on but then deferred to my psychiatrist, before telling me that medication wasn't going to help and Im over medicated. She proceeded to rush through the rest of the exam while i continued to cry. Already feeling hopeless, I cried harder when she left. The nurse came in to give me paperwork, saw me crying, as she did when I came in, and walked out without saying a word. I'm used to Dr. Fleak being somewhat cold and uncaring. It never bothered me before because I only see her once a year and it's whatever. But today, when I'm clearly in pain, neither she nor her nurse could show any… compassion, and instead took away any shred of hope I have left.

Avoid this witch at all costs

Only problem we have had is call backs on out of office procedures, so frustrating!!
