Dr. Michele Maria Gerber, MD

I went to Dr. Gerber for my prenatal care and had an excellent experience. Dr. Gerber was very generous with her time and always answered my questions and valued my concerns. I would highly recommend going to her for prenatal care.

Dr. Gerber was the OB I chose for our second daughter after a rather traumatic birth of our first baby and then a subsequent miscarriage. I was very nervous about this pregnancy and expressed this in our visits. However she never spent more than 5 minutes with me per visit and even took off on vacation during my due date (Dec. 1). I ended up being induced due to some heart decelerations in baby during my 41 week visit by the doctor I had been seeing previously. I felt very disregarded during visits as she would quickly say, "OK let me know about any other questions!" with no eye contact as she was actively leaving the room. I would also note that the rooms are NOT sound proof and I could clearly hear her complaining about other patients with the nurses in the hallway with detailed descriptions of their care. Postpartum I had concerns about pelvic floor rehab and it was very difficult for me to convince her to write a referral for PFPT consult. Overall, I felt more taken care of by the… front desk staff than Dr. Gerber who I saw for maybe a total of 35 minutes throughout the entire pregnancy.

4 month wait to see a doctor?! Woman who answered the phone was yelling over me as I was trying to explain my situation.

Dr. Gerber is a wonderful doctor! I would highly suggest her to anyone. She is a great listener and spends time to really talk to you about your health and any problems. She is kind, smart, understanding and very easy to talk to about any concerns. Her nurse is awesome too, and they are very good at communicating and getting back to you in a timely manner. I even had emergency surgery years back when a cyst burst and she came right away and saved me in the ER, I feel lucky to have her as my doctor.

I love this practice; have been a patient since 2007. I'm very pleased with Dr. Gerber. I have found she's conservative in patient care - she's patient, thorough and really supportive. Dr. Gerber and her other partner Dr. Rambur are a good balance in approaches to OBGYN care and philosophies. I appreciate Dr. Gerber's wealth of expertise, and always feel that I'm in the most expert of hands.
