Dr. Michele Rebecca Hutchison, MD

This doctor had a nurse message my husband to say that they can’t talk to us, we have to speak to attorneys to get medical info on his daughter who is her patient. Our custody agreement says otherwise. I have images of that and much more! including notifying them weeks prior to our daughters hospitalization for dka that her blood sugar was off and to help, just being ignored , blown off and now refusing to give us info we asked for and are entitled by law. Favoring one parent is wrong , not Abiding by the law - the custody agreement is in place for a reason. Bc of her and many others our daughters health has been effected/ how can we protect our daughter when we live out of state and rely on the doctor to help us with her care? Dr. Hutchison is by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. I took my 4-year-old to see her and after waiting literally 8 months for an appointment, I was extremely disappointed. She talked down to my husband and me, and she basically told me that she doesn't know how to help overweight children. We reluctantly scheduled a follow up visit with her for 4 months later and that appointment was even worse. We all left in tears feeling totally frustrated and defeated.I will never go back to her. The nutritionist was fantastic, but unfortunately you can't get an appointment with her without seeing a doctor. Needless to say, without the help of Dr. Hutchison, our daughter is doing much better physically and we as parents are much better mentally!
