Dr. Michele Louise Masi

Transverse myelitis C3 incomplete, looked like spinal tumor or MS, turned out to be syringomyelia, myelitis that was "cutting" my cord in half at C3. Aside from technical agility (diagnosis & treatment) she worked the system and heirarchies to get advanced treatment fast. My life was preserved as was my self identity. My toddlers then are now in medical schools thank to Dr. Masi.

Dr. Michele Massi Belmont Hospital Neurology chose to write an evaluation of my injury as if it was a fictional event. She misrepresented what years of medical evidence through records showed and stated that because she is a professional doctor she is allowed to do so. If this is the case, average citizens should start holding doctors accountable more often and maybe they will not take what they report so lightly. Please know that doctors are not always working in the patients best interest. Some doctors have become cynical and are contracted out and working for big organizations to discredit patient claims against them.

Dr.took the time to review my records and ask questions. She was able to make a better diagnosis than other doctors. Excellent doctor!

This Dr was to give an impartial opinion post surgery and her review was filled with uneducated, unsubstanciated personal opinion. Dr Massi not only feels qualified to challenge 8 other Drs opinions but goes on to overide the Federal DOT standards for CDL Physical requirements. This may well be a Harvard Medical Graduate but she lacks any sort of common sense in a working world. Dr Massi likes to fill her reports with more personal opinion that medical record or fact. Perhaps she should become an author rather than practice medicine.
