Dr. Michele Lynn Organist, MD

Amazing. Actually have had a terrific ride with her whole team. Treats the patient not just the disease. I believe that I have been a patient 20 plus years. Through thyroid issues and cancer. I love the fact that for minor issues we can be seen at 7 AM. I have and will continue to recommend her team. If she leaves UPMC so will we. A Doctor worth following.

Dr Organist has been there with me through stage 4 cancer and parathyroid. She is very thorough...it doesn't surprise me that she wouldn't continue to do a call in on a prescription without seeing the patient. That is who she is. I have recommended Dr Organist to several professionals. All have said they understand why I have confidence in her and her staff. Plus my annual check up was at 7:00Am the staff was there and ready to go. The blood work was done that day, all shots. I was back at the office by 9. The results were in by Wednesday.

She takes lots of time to do a thorough history and exam. She listens to and and answers all concerns.

Dr. Organist has been my doctor for 15 years. She's the best. She's down to earth, caring, smart and friendly. Unlike many other physicians, she always calls personally with test results and advice. Plus I love her outfits. I can't believe somebody complained about the way she dresses.

If your problem is not simple, you will be sent to another doctor, almost like a consierge. How much can you really care when you see your patients for 8 to 10 minutes? Called to get a refill for medication that she prescribed 5 yrs ago and have been taking that long, that she has called in many times before. I was told that she had to send it by u.s. mail because she can't call in a controlled substance? And no, its not painkillers. Have been without medication for 7 days. This is caring? She is more interested in protecting the practice than making sure you are feeling o.k.. Going to find a doctor who isn't afraid to treat.

Dr. Organist is the best doctor I have ever had! She really cares about her patients and takes the time to know you. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Organist is the "best". She takes time to explain things, is very thorough and very personable. I would give her a five star rating if possible.

Rude and abrasive. Very condescending. Has no bedside manner. I left the office upset, not because of my medical conditions, but by the way I was treated and spoken to. Looking elsewhere.

Abrasive. Condescending. Know-it-all. Acts like she's thorough, but misses a lot (e.g., a diseased, non-functioning gallbladder). I've never seen a "professional" with a skirt that short.Her nurse is rude and can't take blood to save her life.And this comment might seem rude, but that's what happens when a patient is repeatedly treated poorly.

She is very carefull with her diagnosis process. She is the PCP for my entire family and we all are very happy to have her as our doctor.
