Summary
Life sometimes can feel overwhelming, especially as we are going through major life changes. These changes can often lead to overwhelming feelings of grief, loss, anxiety and depression. I am a person centered cognitive behavioral therapist by nature. This means that I am interested in your story and joining you in your mental health journey. I hope to be able to assist you with thinking about things from a different angle, and this may assist with negative thought and behaviors that contribute to unhappiness in life. I believe that small steps forward is progress and I want to work with you in the development of healthy coping skills to manage these overwhelming feelings and situations and to change unwanted behaviors and thoughts.
In 2019 I graduated from Colorado Christian University with my master’s in clinical counseling. As an LPC I have spent time working in inpatient rehabilitation facilities and in private practice working with individuals who suffer from psychotic, …personality, adjustment, and anxiety disorders, PTSD, addiction, and couples counseling.
Currently, I focus on adults with various mental health needs. I know that looking at things from a different lens can motivate you in enacting change in daily life. Changes in our thinking and behavior can lead to a healthier lifestyle overall. I am looking forward to coming alongside you in your mental health journey.
