New doctor with little experience. I had headaches due to a pinched nerve in my neck. She didn't diagnose me correctly. She prescribed prednisone which made my headaches so bad that by the time I was taking the full dosage of the drug, I had such bad headaches and other symptoms that I ended up having to be treated in the ER. They billed me over three thousand dollars. This represents about three months salary for me. If she had properly diagnosed and prescribed for me, I would not have had to suffer an extra three weeks with terrible headaches, confusion and stuttering due to the meds she prescribed. She consulted the internet to diagnose me and still failed to give me the correct medication. The ER doctor and the neurologist I eventually saw, both told me that I should never have been taking prednisone. She has not taken responsibility for her actions. If she doesn't know what to do, she should admit it and consult with her superior. I am very disappointed in my experience as her… patient. I can't afford for my doctors to make such costly mistakes.
