Dr. Akler has cared for both my mother and I. She is absolutely the best; her bedside manner and expertise is top notch. The office staff are caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone.

I started going to Dr. Akler several years ago - mostly for preventative care of potential issues. Everyone in this office is very professional and courteous. She diagnosed a minor issue, but I keep going back to make sure it stays that way.

Technician exam is great you have a lot of confidence in the doctor in her staff. Will update complete review after surgeries. After cataract surgery update on both my eyes review : I did opt for the premium lens the Invista Envy I always like to do my reviews after I’m at the healing stage of any kind of operations or surgeries. I had driven over an hour to see the doctor based off of her reviews. And I was not disappointed. She even took the time to thank me for driving that far. My initial experience with a doctor and her staff was surprisingly enjoyable. (I’ve had experiences where they treat you as if you’re below their time and effort). They were professional but kind. As an example I was in the exam room waiting for Dr. Akler to come in and I could hear her talking to an elderly individual in the other room. She’s was extremely kind, patient and understanding, listening to their concerns and frustrations with their current eyesight condition, But again she was… completely kind , she took the time to really listen to them with understanding and you could tell from the response of the elderly person they were happy with the support from the doctor. The first cataract surgery went extremely well and was able to see through that eye the next day with minimal but expected blurriness. The night before the second surgery, this was on the weekend, I had some concerns. Though the office was closed and this was after hours, I was still able to reach the doctor and she helped alleviate my concerns, listening to them with compassion and professionalism. Post-op about two weeks after the second cataract replacement things are totally improving each day and I can’t say nothing but positive things about the doctor and her staff. Even after the surgery was complete I still received Support and answers to my questions. Just be patient with the process and give your eyes time to adjust to their new lenses when getting cataract surgery. Kurt-

My stubborn father refused for years to see an eye doctor, any doctor for that matter. So when I finally convinced him to see one about his eyes, I knew they were very bad. Let me tell you our experience with Doctor Akler and her wonderful staff was beyond amazing. The surgical center was absolutely wonderful too. What a terrific experience. So good in fact that my dad is willing to see other doctors for other issues, all because his faith has been restored. From one desperate daughter to get her father help I am beyond grateful and can’t say enough about Akler eye center.

I have the highest regard for Dr. Akler who is professional, thorough, informative and personable. She listens to you and explains your test results. There is no feeling of being rushed through on an assembly line. She even cleaned my glasses for me when I mentioned I had gunk on them that water would not work. I belong to an organization and that is how I received a recommendation about her. I was told that everyone in our group who needed cataract surgery had Dr. Akler and were happy with their results. I drive 45 minutes to an hour for my annual eye examination and it is time well spent.

I had cataract surgery performed by Dr Akler. The surgery was painless and completely successful. The office staff is very helpful and welcoming. I had a few eye issues, not related to my surgery, and after speaking with Dr Akler, they gave me appointments immediately. Dr Akler and her staff are all very kind and friendly. Dr. Akler did an amazing job in calming my husband, David, on his first eye appointment and was told he needed cataract surgery . He had anxiety over the surgery.
