Dr. Michele Diane Astarita, MD

Dr. Astarita is what a physician should be. I have been a nurse since the '80s and it is so refreshing that you actually speak to a doctor for as long as it takes and shocking as it may seem; she actually listens to you. Dr. Astarita is kind, caring, empathetic and intelligent. She took an oath and stands behind it in being a true patient advocate. Her patients are always first and she will fight the good fight if necessary with insurance companies. I have met hundreds of doctors over the years and to survive cancer twice I wanted to make sure I had the best which is the reason I have her as my doctor. A truly wonderful individual who gives you a big, warm hug and makes you feel like we are in this together. You will never meet anyone so, genuine with a huge heart an excellent bedside manner. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and a professional in her field.

I couldn't of asked for a better doctor to take care of my mom, she has great bedside manners and very attentive in explaining and showing great concern for my mother's well being. The staff is remarkable, caring & supportive. The wait is long at times, however it is so well worth it once you sit down with the doctor.

Let me begin by saying that Dr. Astarita is one of the most nicest/sweetest/ most admirable doctor ever. It's funny how people complain about the time which they should not care since it's concerning there health, pretty sure that when they go get their hair, nails and waxing done they have no problem waiting! So think about that next time you decide to complain! As far as the staff is concerned they are remarkable & do a great job and handling everyday stress, i know most of the times patients are not easy & with the amount of work given they put up with alot of rudeness. If you do not know what it's like to work at a doctors office then you have no right to be negative and give rude feedback!

Best doctor ever!!!

Never waited for an appt so much like with Dr. ASTARITA. I dont know whats the point of appointments if the patients will be taken care of like 3 - 4 hours later.

I took my elderly mother twice to see Dr. Astarita. We waited three hours (3 hours) for the first visit and waited more than four hours (4 hours) for the second visit. Dr. Astarita my be very nice and possibly a good oncologist, not sure. But she definitely does not value her patience time. Another person in the waiting room said he waited six hours for his last visit. My time is just as valuable as any doctors. My family decided to seek the services of another oncologist.
