Dr. Michelle K Daya, MD

Had Dr. Daya in the ER. What a loser! She stayed back, leaning against the wall, letting her pack of medical assistants unwrapped my infected leg. They showed their disgust at the infection, the smell, etc and Dr. Daya never actually came close to look for herself. She allowed her pack of kids to declare a diagnosis that was wrong - because they were mistaking the symptom for the actual cause. When I explained what happened they sneered at me "You shouldn't go diagnosing yourself from the Internet..." What educational morons! I hold a Biomedical degree - with all A's and have worked for NASA, was production manager of the first company to make Arterial Stents with laser machining, etc. My professional career blows those med assistants away. They're not in my league. Daya disappeared during the ultrasound that reported not finding a clot. WRONG! The leg was so infected with pus, blood, etc. the ultrasound person would NOT scan the affected veins that held a deep vein… thrombosis. The ultrasound report mistakenly stated D-dimer negative (a blood marker that indicates clotting) when in fact the lab result was an elevated D-dimer by 300%! What incompetence! Daya is a hack of an MD (how did she ever get a California Medical Board License?!) - who discharged me without any anti-clotting medication for a deep vein thrombosis that could have caused a pulmonary embolism. She discharged this elderly man who lives alone in social isolation without arranging for a visiting wound care nurse! That service is paid for by Medicare for home bound patients (which I qualify for). Leg wound was not properly wrapped - they used gauze which later ripped off skin painfully when the pus, lymph fluid, and blood dried up. You're supposed to use bandages soaked in zinc oxide. No pain medication for a live alone, pain suffering man who was using high amounts of NSAIDs to control pain. I'll bet if you drug test Daya you'll find cannabis and alcohol metabolites. Bet ya! SUMMARY: Not a real doctor, this is a ghost who may have the credentials but there is nobody home inside.

Worst ER doctor I’ve ever encountered. Ended up back in ER 2 days later.
