My 80-year-old mother had a bowel obstruction and Dr. DeGroat was able to repair it laparoscopically to minimize her recovery time. While she was doing that, she also found a previously undiagnosed hernia, and repaired that as well. Dr. DeGroat is a miracle worker! Exactly what you want in a general surgeon.

She is one of the best surgeons I have ever been to and I have had of 18 surgeries so I would know! She is very kind and takes her time exposing everything and also very meticulous. Love her she is my go to surgeon for all surgerys.

I went to Dr. Degroat because my GP sent me there when it was determined I needed my gallbladder out. She was very kind, good bedside manner. In the follow up after the surgery, I had a rare pathological finding and found out I needed to have a second procedure. I was on edge due to the finding being pre-cancerous cells. Dr. Degroat was thoughtful and supportive as she was explaining what was going on and how it would be fixed. Will be having my next procedure in a month and know I am in excellent hands.

Dr Degroat was able to help with my inguinal hernia repair. I thank you an your staff for the aazing work. Thought it is considered a simple outpatient procedure for me, ive had my hernia for almost 10 years or more. For me, 25years old, it has hindered my ability to enjoy simple things in life like walking or riding and lifting. Thanks a million and should you need a hernia repair in ohio, Dr Degroat is the number one referral ill ever give! P.S. Though im still sore from my recent operation, they certainly made sure the process was a painless as possible. Thanks to everyone that helped me including the rn's.

Dr. DeGroat took my gallbladder out in the hospital. She was rude to me and my family. She sent her lackeys for any kind of follow-through. In fact, before the surgery, I had never laid eyes on her. She was too important to bother with talking to a surgical patient.

very sweet.....but did gall bladder surgery and left gall stones in panc, so had to go back in for emergency procedures..........very dangerous.............but would use again .......she does care and offer herself.......but needs a little more experience,,,,,,,
