Ms. Michelle DiMattia, Director of Speech-Language Pathology, Hearing & Speech Center at Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders at the University of Minnesota, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and board certification from the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders. She has been a clinical instructor for over 25 years in multiple hospitals, training staff and graduate students in videofluoroscopic swallow studies and dysphagia assessment and intervention. My daughter is under Dr. Dimattia's care and we look forward to every appointment. She is very friendly and kind. You can tell that she really loves her job. She explains things with excitement and puts you at ease that you know you are being taken care of by someone not only with a great attitude but with someone so knowledgeable in her field.

Michelle is a phenomenal feeding specialist. It’s abundantly clear how much she wants parents to understand the mechanics behind the issues and solutions - she is gifted in explaining any concept. We’ve had both virtual and in-person appointments with her and consider her care as a critical part of how we were able to raise a healthy infant.
