Dr. Michelle Marie Dismondy, DO

I recently switched to Dr. Dismondy from another neurologist and I am thankful I did. I did not feel rushed during my appointment with her. She sat down and went over my very detailed history and was very patient and compassionate with me. She was also on time, which I appreciated so much. I highly recommend Dr. Dismondy!

I saw her about a year ago, and I never had a physician as rude as her! She listened to my schpeal about muscle spasms in my neck and back for 5 mins, and then complained to me! She said, "Seriously? If other physicians just listened to your complaints for 5 minutes, they'd know it was the Rheumatoid Arthritis. You didnt need to come see me for this." Getting defensive, I had to tell her I've wacked my head and neck hard enough a couple times in the past to go into shock, I have muscle pain as well as the joint pain, and although I was carried to full-term as an infant I had sleep apnea of the newborn that I eventually grew out of. My nervous system was underdeveloped at birth, something "other physicians" took 5 minutes to ask questions to find out about. She got snooty after that and was all, "Well, you didnt say that, and it wasn't in your history." So like... I'm sorry. I didnt see a check box for "rare birth defect" in the history paperwork??? Then the medication she kept… perscribing me my pharmacist called me TWICE about to say it interracted with my other medications. Nowadays my neck and limbs are going numb for no explained reason, but I'm not seeing her about that. BAD! BAD! BAD!

Dr.Dismondy has really given me the hope that I can start to feel better. She is caring, kind, and really wants to help her patients.

Wonderful doctor, I'm so glad I have her for a doc. It didn't take her long to diagnose me and I was able to c her right away. Her staff is very nice to deal with as well, which is a plus.

Through the years Dr. Dismondy has been nothing but kind, attentive, insightful, and caring for both my mother and myself. My mother has Alzheimer's, little care, thought, or effort is afforded her by most doctors. Be it in the hospital running tests and positing ideas, or in a traditional visit, Dr. Dismondy still cares, does what she can to help and maximize quality of life for my mother. Am very grateful for that, wish more doctors were like her.

Dr Dismondy (Cahill) has been treating me for migraines for about 10 years. She has been open to me exploring other alternatives, while still willingly treating me with Botox injections and Rx's as needed. She even referred me to the UofM Pain clinic while still treating me. She listens, she has a wonderful bedside manner and she is very forthright in her treatments.

Dr. Cahill does not pay attention to her patients. She ignored everything I told her, and continued prescribing drugs and treatment that made my problem worse.

Dr. Cahill does not pay attention to her patients. Once she makes a diagnosis, she never considers whether that diagnosis may be wrong, even when told that the problems is getting worse.

I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Cahill. After several weeks of treatments, my problem was getting worse. When I told Dr. Cahill the problem was worse, she just said that I needed to continue the treatments she had prescribed. As it turns out, she was treating back pain when the pain was actually coming from my hip. Now that my hip has been replaced (by someone else), the pain is gone.

Dr. Cahill was very thorough and approachable. I saw her for migraines, and she worked with me to find changes in my life and medication to figure out what would be best for me. She was so dedicated and always made me feel like my concerns were heard. I so appreciate her kindness and consideration.
