Dr. Michelle Smith Gerdes, MD

I have been going to See Dr. Gerdes for over 15 years and she has always been excellent. Diagnosis is accurate, Rx are very accurate, and she does not hurt me. I am a nurse who has been working with and for doctors for over 25 years and my opinion is based on my experience with hundreds of MDs.

Does not listen. Zero compassion! Comes off as a know it all.

Dr. Gerdes, and her staff, are exceptional! Every person in the office is kind, caring, knowledgable, and helpful. Dr. Gerdes has amazing diagnostic skills and a wonderful bedside manner. She truly cares about her patients and she has helped my entire family many times over. I would recommend her 100%!

Great doctor-

I had a mole removal. It was pain free, and the healing process was pain free as well. The Dr. was friendly, as were the admin staff. The wait time was average and about what I expect when I go to doctor's appointment.

For years I put off going to a dermatologist due to some bad experiences in the past.Dr. Gerdes was recommended to me by another doctor I highly respect! I went to see Dr. Gerdes and I'm glad I did. She quickly and painlessly removed a large nasty mole . She examined the rest of my body for any concerns. She answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease.She was pleasant,informative,and efficient . I 've already recommended her to a friend and now my husband wants to make an appointment with Dr. Gerdes.

Overall, the staff wasn't exactly bad but they weren't too friendly either. My issue was the doctor herself. I chose her because she was located near my workplace and I was able to schedule an appointment during lunch hours. Unfortunately, she spent maybe 5 minutes total with me. Throughout the whole time, I felt like I was being rushed and that I was ruining her plans for lunch or something. She answered all my questions in practically a few words and kept asking, "what else?" as if I were holding her back from more important things. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back. In addition, it turns out one of my coworkers had gone to her in the past and also said she had the exact same experienece...she switched doctors.

i am a 22 yr old female & i've been seeing her for awhile now. first she did a thorough mole evaluation and also removed one on my back. she was great & made the procedure painless & easy. i have seen her now for other things such as rashes, and skin problems. she is very nice, calm, and her work is just amazing. i will no longer go to anyone else for skin issues, she is fantastic!

As a male 65 with a couple of skin issues one being a rash on my side and the other a jock fungal rash on my lower stomach Dr Gerdes was and is very professional handeled it and me very well. Her staff is also excellent.

From getting an appointment to leaving the Dr's office the entire experience was quick and easy. Highly recommend Dr. Gerdes if you are in need of a dermatologist.
