Over 25 years. I have worked in all specialties in the operating room over the years, but have focused on perioperative services, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.

What is your patient care philosophy?
Every patient is unique, and we must meet them where they are. That is why I strive to be an active listener for my patients. I treat each one individually by attending specifically to their care needs, asking detailed questions, and waiting for the answers.
What would you like people to know about you as a provider?
I want to be your biggest advocate and provide you with the best care I can give.
What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
I love the interaction with the patients and their families, getting to know them individually and remembering them as the years pass.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I am a native to Lakeland. I work hard and I love to travel. I have a teenage daughter who also keeps us very busy and the cutest pup ever.
What (positive) childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?
I never minded visiting the doctor. My mom would always tell me what to expect — even if I had to get a shot.
What else would you like to share with our readers?
I love people and love to learn their history and experiences. Every patient teaches me something; I love learning new things. If I'm not learning, I'm not living.
