My work is about helping clients understand their histories and how they relate to current functioning. If we look deeply enough, everything makes sense. I remind clients there is nothing fundamentally wrong with them--they can heal and make great progress. I assist people struggling with depression, trauma and relationship issues in discharging long-harbored stress and trauma. EMDR and somatic therapies allow the body's natural healing mechanisms to calm the central nervous system and facilitate more peaceful, healthier living. Working holistically with both traditional and somatic interventions can achieve profound results.

The longer I do this work the more I find most mental-health and relationship distress is related to deeply rooted fears or prior physical or emotional trauma. Many people aren't aware that seemingly normal life experiences can be perceived by the mind and body as traumatic or dysregulating. But the body is naturally geared toward healing and so is the mind!

One …of the greatest things about doing this work is how much I've learned about myself personally, and how much I've been able to overcome. It is my honor to assist others toward healing.
