Dr. Michelle L Hinze, MD

Had an Achilles repair with Dr. Hinze a year ago. It's been a rough year, but she was up front and let me know exactly what it was going to be like. She also saw me for an infection in my toe and just about moved heaven and earth to get me a $2500 6-day course of an antibiotic that my insurance wouldn't cover for the cost of what my copay would have been. Dr. Hinze's bedside manner is fantastic and the Physical Therapy team she has are top-notch. I would recommend Dr. Hinze to all of my friends and family.

It's been 6 yrs & my toe is worse than when I first saw her. I went for a bunionectomy and every appointment afterwards all the way up to the surgery, she kept asking me to get my "hammertoe" corrected. It could only be seen by x-ray! No matter how many times I told her no, she kept asking. She performs the bunionectomy and as I recover, she came in and to discuss the surgery. She explained she didn't originally cut far enough so she had to make the incision longer. As she smiles and explains that still wasn't far enough and that she had to cut farther, I guess she thought I would find it just as amusing...NOT! My toe is still messed up. There's not a day that goes by that doesn't cause me pain. I'm afraid to even get a correction done on this horrible thing she would call a professional job. Before even saing hello, starting off meeting your new patient with, "Who gave you those feet?!" isn't what I would call very "PROFESSIONAL" either, though she considers it an ice breaker.… YOU'RE AT A DOCTOR'S OFFICE, NOT A COMEDY CLUB! You DON'T need freaking ice breakers to meet with a patient. GROW UP "Dr" Hinze!!!
