Dr. Michelle Agana Jao-Velasquez, MD

Dr. Velasquez is always in a hurry and always short with me. I'm young with few health problems and come in sparingly, but when I do I feel like a burden. She never reads my chart prior (e.g. forgets relevant personal info, that I'm on birth control, etc...). This has caused her to provide incorrect recommendations, which had to be revised after I remind her of relevant info.

Would have appreciated a f/u phone call considering how concerned she was regarding my illness at the time

started seeing Dr. V. about 5 yrs ago. she saved my life. she diagnosed me with a liver problem, which in turn, I had to have a transplant. with out her i would not be here today. she is THE BEST Dr. i have seen in my life time.

Dr. Velasquez is a very careing doctor . She takes time to listen to you. She has an excellent bedside manner . Making appointments is easy to do and her staff is very sweet .

Michelle is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. She genuinely cares for the health of her patients. She listens carefully to ensure a proper diagnosis. I've also never felt rushed in her office like many doctors tend to do because they have too many patients.

Dr. Velasguez has a wonderful bedside manner. She was very good to my mom and is a good listener. She is a very good at diagnosing any problems and will send you for the proper labs, etc. If she thinks you need a specialist she will refer you. Can't ask for a better doctor.
