Dr. Michelle Elizabeth Jenkins, MD

i went to dr jenkins for 4 years.with constant daily leg pain she only touched me 2 times in 4 yrs and never even looked at my legs.needless to say i had no insurance and she even told me that when i got it we could figure out the problem then.at each follow up visit she would have even forgot about what she told me to do or the test from the previous visit and start talking about something else.i never even sit on the examine table.now that i have insurance i am trying to find a GOOD dr that can finally diagnois me and help me get my health and life back.

she treats you like a number

seems wrapped up in herself not willing to listen to others this is very likely to cause problems for many of your patients in the future and ther health felt like get them in get them out meat market style she is very very moody not a good quality for a dr

I saw Dr. Jenkins for swelling in my joints and pain that was bad enough to keep me awake at night. She never gave me a physical and only once did she get up off of her stool. She did run numerous tests. The last time that I saw her she stated as she sat down that I had " a flat effect" and that my problem was Depression. She asked me if I had problems with my Husband and if I was afraid of him and would I consider marriage counseling. I told her my leg was going numb and I also had severe pain in it. She said depression would cause that. She prescribed depression medication, counseling, and Tai Chi. I found a Dr. who sent me to a Rheumatologist in a nearby city who diagnosed me with Psoriatic Arthritis. Which made sense d/t the fact that I have had Psoriasis for the last five years. This Rheumatologist did x-rays and blood tests along with a physical examination to make her diagnosis.
