Dr. Michelle Frances Johnson, MD

Dr.Johnson was my physician in Minnesota almost 20 years ago. Both my wife and I miss her terribly. A person could not ask for a better care giver. Mike Lessner Edina Minnesota

Would not recommend to anyone:negligent, incompetent and a liar. Documents exams that were never performed. Throws tantrums and sulks when when patient insists on answers to medical problems. Tries to push her responsibility onto others. Annoyed when help is sought from other drs. Listened to lungs and heart in less than 2 secs. Per her request, MGUS testing was conducted. When I inquired about she said she knew nothing of oncology. Yet she objected to me seeking an oncology of my choice. Something is not right with this woman.

This woman is negligent, incompetent and lazy.She throws tantrums and lies about test results. Have gone to her since 2016 and she has no solutions. She examined my heart & listen in less than 2 seconds. She documents exams that never occurred.

Johnson does not follow up on treatment,nor answer ?s from lab reports,or make refer'ls. Doesn't wish to discuss reports outside of her medical system. She claims to have conducted exams that she didn't performed.She's unprofessional & a big liar. This woman has no solutions to medical problems. Why is she still employed as a physician; shortage of practitioners?

Dr. Johnson isn't responsive at all if you leave a message for her thru their 'One Chart' message system. If you leave a message for her thru a nurse you ALWAYS have to come in and pay another copay. She has never heard of shingles without the rash which obviously shows lack of knowledge. Very dismissive of peoples feelings. If you go see a doctor at a non UNMC urgent care place you can tell that is not approved of at all. I hate it when I go see a doctor and they clench their teeth because they are frustrated or whatever they are. That is totally out of line and unprofessional. I am totally over her being my primary care doctor. Too many doctors and hospitals out there to choose from to be locked into a doctor that is over worked and frustrated.

On multiple occasions, I have left messages on the nurse line or via the patient portal and waited days for a response, if any at all. Nice person, but either she is overworked or doesn't use her staff. I will be looking elsewhere for a provider.
