Summary
Medicine is a privilege, and I recognize the vulnerability that accompanies surgical and aesthetic care. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, supported and confident in their treatment.
I believe exceptional care begins with truly understanding each patient’s needs and concerns. Whether I am treating skin cancer or performing aesthetic procedures, my goal is always the same: to combine technical excellence with thoughtful, individualized care so patients feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout their treatment. I strive to practice medicine with compassion, precision and respect, treating every patient as I would my own family.
I am board-certified in both dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly precise, specialized technique used to treat skin cancer by removing cancerous tissue layer-by-layer. I am a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
My practice spans the full scope of procedural …dermatology, including advanced skin cancer treatment, reconstruction, laser procedures and cosmetic rejuvenation, all tailored to each patient’s goals.
My academic journey began right here in the Lehigh Valley, where I attended Lehigh University and graduated summa cum laude (highest honors) with departmental honors for research. I earned my medical degree from the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where my commitment to excellence was recognized with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, awarded to the top graduating medical students in each class. I completed my dermatology residency at New York University (NYU), one of the top dermatology residency programs in the country. I served as Chief Resident and received the Morris Leider Award, recognizing me as the "Best All-Around Resident" throughout my training. I then completed an intensive fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at NYU, working with nationally recognized leaders in the field. As part of this fellowship, I gained comprehensive training across the full scope of procedural dermatology, including Mohs surgery, complex reconstruction, laser procedures, cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic surgery. During my fellowship, I received the Theodore Tromovitch Award from the American College of Mohs Surgery at the College’s Annual Meeting. The award recognizes outstanding research and presentation and is one of the organization’s highest honors for a fellow-in-training.
Beyond clinical practice, I am deeply committed to medical education and academic medicine. I am faculty for both the dermatology residency and our recently established Mohs fellowship, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows. I am also actively involved in research, with publications in leading journals across dermatology, dermatologic surgery, otolaryngology and plastic surgery. I regularly present at national meetings. My academic interests include Mohs surgery and reconstruction, medical education and the care of high-risk skin cancer patients. I serve on multiple committees for the Association of Academic Cosmetic Dermatology and am a peer reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). I am also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and The International Immunosuppression & Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative. I value multidisciplinary collaboration in the care of complex skin cancers.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, traveling and exploring with my husband and dog. I am honored to be part of St. Luke’s and to serve this community with expertise, dedication and compassion.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews
Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.
Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.
Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
