Dr. Michelle Kang Kim, MD

I saw Dr. Kim for a routine, albeit very unpleasant medical test that we all have to do eventually (yep, you guessed it). I was scared and miserable with the prep process and I irrationally pressured Dr Kim that she should be able to guess my health state without doing this test. I whined. Dr Kim remained kind but firm. In retrospect, I was a handful. I am taking the time to commend Dr Kim and her staff. The experience was not fun, but Dr Kim made the best of the situation when she could have easily told me to take my business elsewhere. Thank you, Dr. Kim.

I have never found such a caring, knowledgable Dr. There are never rushed appointments she spends so much time explaining everything as well as listening to your concerns. Dr Kim or her staff responds immediately to my calls or emails. Dr Kim is simply the Best and I'm beyond Thankful I found her.

I was diagnosed with a small carcinoid of my appendix in 2005 after having surgery at MSKCC. I saw a colorectal surgeon there who told me that because the size of my carcinoid was so small, no further followup was needed. I then decided to call the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation and was told that no matter the size of the tumor, carcinoid cancers must be followed. I was then referred to Dr. Kim. I am thrilled to say I feel very safe under her care. She really knows her stuff and answered every question I had in a kind, caring way. I get scans and blood tests once a year at the time of my visit. She also treated me for c. diff. in 2011 and the spring of 2012. I am truly grateful to be under her care.

I was recomended to her by a doctor in N.J. and she saved my life. She studies this type of a rare tumor. I just love her. I go every 6 months. Excellent doctor

A knowledgeable and caring physician

Dr, Kim has treated my wife for 9 months and has been the person to whom my wife attributes her well-being. She is caring, has an incredible bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable. She asks many questions, makes many suggestions and overall is one of the best doctors we have met at Mt. Sinai. We hoe to know Dr. Kim for many years to come.

Dr. Kim is very competent and very caring. I highly recommend her.
