Michelle Lamers, DDS
Dr. Michelle Lamers knew she wanted to be a dentist while growing up in Menomonee Falls. She first attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison studying Bacteriology and pre-dental, while working in the dental field part-time. She attended Marquette University’s School of Dentistry and graduated in the top 10% of her class in 1998 with Cum Laude honors. Dr. Lamers also achieved recognition for her high scores on her dental board examines placing her in the top 96% nationally on written and received a perfect 100% nationally on her clinical exam, and continues to take regular continuing education courses. She worked as an associate in a dental office for 1 year before starting her dental practice in Franklin in July, 1999.
“I’ve really enjoyed watching my practice grow with my patients. I’ve seen patients who were in high school when I started treating them. They now have graduated, married, had children of their own that they bring to me. As well as …toddlers who have grown up to become healthy, cavity-free teenagers. Patients who first came to me embarrassed about their mouth, have reached the point where they smile proudly and want to show off their teeth.”
Besides practicing dentistry, Dr. Michelle Lamers enjoys time with her wonderful husband Tony, 2 young daughters, and son. They spend free time biking, swimming, camping, gardening, farming, watching kids sporting events, and enjoying the outdoors in Wisconsin. Dr. Lamers is also an avid horseback rider. Having grown up around horses she enjoys trail riding with her family as well as competing in jumping competitions.
