Dr. Michelle Levi, MD

Dr. Levi treated my daughter for years. She misdiagnosed her. When i brought my concerns to her she didn’t take them serious. I went to another dr who found a tumor growing behind her eye into her brain. Because of her neglect my daughter has gone through multiple surgeries. When I told dr. Levi what the other doctor found she didn’t care. She’s very cold and incompetent. Now my daughter has suffered tremendously from Dr .Levi not taking her symptoms seriously!!

I believe in giving 2nd chances -but not in 3 chances. My appointment was for 11AM. I was told it was going to be a 30 min wait. Why make an appointment, if its going to 30 min. That's not the worst part - after waiting for 1 hour, I went to the front desk, and asked when I could see the doctor. Lo and Behold, the front desk states, that the doctor had to take care of an emergency. There was no mention of this - and as soon as the front desk stated this, a person behind me, who was waiting since 9AM for her own emergency, was LIVID. Why are we waiting there for a doctor, who is not in the office, who is delayed by at least 3 hours. This place is a mess, no control over what is happening in the office, and is an overall disappointment. This happened similarly to my last time, but I wanted to give them a chance, because supposedly the doctor is a good doctor. But this type of behavior is unacceptable, and I will not be bringing my business here. everyone should stay away,… until the doctors understand that they should learn some basic customer care. Great doctor. Is helpful with the IEP process if needed and is kind and caring. Always follows up and returns calls. A gem in Long Island vision care!

I take my child to this doctor in plainview, whoever answers the call for appointment needs to be fired or this doctor will keep getting bad reviews, am not sure if this is a "race thing" but whenever i call for appointment they are so so rude i cant even put it into words.... I am currently looking for another Doctor right now..

Dr Levi is very gentle with my baby, but the level of rudeness I get each time I call to get an appointment is unbelievable, I have been with this doctor for so long but I can't take the the disorganization and rude attitude of the receptionists anymore.
