Dr. Michelle Alise Lopez, MD

Dr. Lopez is NOT taking new patients. Ever since then she seems so busy that she doesn't spend much time with you and seems to be in a hurry to get out the door. Does not discuss your ailments with you. I have had her come into the examining room and then realized she was in the wrong room. She gets me mixed up with my sister-in-law and once had her chart instead of mine. Instead prints out info sheets and sends you home with them. She is friendly and has a good bedside manner but a good bedside manner does not make a good doctor. Front desk staff is not friendly. Nurses that answer the phone are pretty good. I have now found a new primary care physician that is very thorough with all my medical issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lopez for 6 yrs and would highly recommend her to anyone. She spends time lidtening to my concerns and takes time to explain the answers to my questions. She is EXTREMELY thorough. I have MANY issues so I see her often and have always felt like we are a team, she never has come across as arrogant or having all the answers. The nurses have always cared about me when they prepare me for seeing her. The receptionists could be more welcoming. My biggest frustration and disappointment with THEDACARE in general is being on hold for an EXTREMELY LONG wait. I also appreciate mythedacare.org. I can see all of my medical records, send Dr. an email, which does get answeredand other features.

There was no follow up after my daughter was doing routine testing for thyroid issue. Then after 2 days my wife called to talk to them and get an answer. Then the office never called the prescription in to the pharmacy. Had to call the office once again. They also had the prescription dosage wrong in their records and had to be told the correct dosage.

Very good bedside manner - truly cares for her patients and takes a active roll in my overall health
