Dr. Michelle Marie Lung, MD

She was very informative on my medical condition and what was going to take place. She handled my situation very carefully and did the best of her ability to make me as comfortable as possible. After reading another review saying the opposite about her I was scared. But I am glad I followed through with her as I was in the very best hands. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for putting up with me.R

If you are going to receive medical care or have a procedure performed by Dr. Michelle Lung, please take a second to read the statements below, and reconsider.My mom was admitted into Munson and was in serious condition. It was determined by the medical team that she needed a biopsy performed using MRI. On the day of the procedure, I accompanied mom to MRI, introduced myself to the tech (my mom was unable to communicate due to pain meds) and then Dr. Lung came to the holding room.After introducing myself, Dr. Lung cut the conversation very short and was unfriendly. She did not elaborate on the procedure details. (1) I requested to be present in the MRI control room, as my mom had much pain, and she said no. (2) I then asked to be apprised of the preliminary results after the procedure was performed. She avoided the question. (3) I also requested that someone notify us when it was over. Dr. Lung waved a technician over, and he basically left us in the waiting room without any… word.After some time, we had discovered that mom had been already sent to her room. NO ONE had bothered to tell us that the procedure was finished and that we could accompany her back. Also, Dr. Lung DID NOT even speak to us about the procedure nor about the preliminary results.Dr. Michelle Lungs bedside manner and demeanor were unfriendly, snobbish and completely inappropriate and uncaring. She did not demonstrate any kindness during this extremely difficult and stressful time for our family nor did she consider taking any time to explain things or update us.I would NEVER RECOMMEND Dr. Michelle Lung to any family or friends because of the way she treated us. If you are considering her for your care, please seriously reconsider. (In addition, one of her radiology colleagues completely missed an important abnormality on one of moms radiology exams.)Btw, I am a board certified physician. And if you are wondering if she knew this information, frankly, it really should not matter. All patients and their families should be treated with compassion, kindness and respect. Dr. Lung had the audacity to behave in this manner toward our family, and would not like this to happen to anyone elses loved one.
