Dr. Michelle Rock Orr, MD

We've never been so discouraged or frustrated by a doctor's appointment. Dr. Orr did not listen but rather interrupted repeatedly leaving no opportunity to share pertinent information. Her tone was condescending and simply uncalled for. We'll be seeking care elsewhere.

My teen daughter was referred to Dr Orr ONLY because she is a part of the Meritas Group! Dr Orr received the lab results from the doctor that referred her to us prior to our appointment. She not only did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with the results that she had, but, she insulted my daughter and myself! Told my daughter that she needed to eat better, lose weight, and work out! She had NO CONCERN when my TEEN daughter told her that she was depressed! We both left her office in tears! We were referred to another endocrinologist after the ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with Dr Orr. The second endocrinologist, with the same lab work, questioned why my daughter wasn’t being treated for PCOS and thyroid issues (she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s), which was why we were referred to Dr Orr in the first place. UNBELIEVABLE!

Totally rude and incompetent. She should be more careful with her words. I have suffered from depression for a long time and after leaving her office was the first time I sat there and really almost committed suicide. Not to mention the taking of labs I was never notified about even after coming back abnormal. She made me believe I was worthless and would never feel better. Wrong. I just needed a real doctor.

I went for endocrine issues related to a brain tumor but she never talked about any of that at my visits. Very little lab work done for the brain tumor issues. But suddenly I had a 5.7 A1C (low range of pre-diabetes) and she wanted me on meds and sticking my finger daily and talking about insulin. Her office is plastered full of advertisements for diabetes medication. I got out of there fast. If you have diabetes she will get you medicated to the gills. If you have other endocrine issues, go elsewhere.

I’ve had a good experience with her up until today. I have had two hip total hip revisions over the last year. I see her for low t and have seen her for over year. Since I’ve seen her I have gained a bit of weight because of recovering from major hip surgery and the pain I now suffer from my other hip I’m not able to excercise like I once did. She passed off me gaining weight and having a difficult time developing a routine as symptoms of my depression and that “I should get with my doctor to work that out”. I’ve nevwr felt so worthless as I did today leaving that doctor’s office. She is not there to support you or treat you as a whole person. She just sees the numbers and treats that. Not going back and recommend that others don’t see her because of her dangerous rude behavior.

After reading a lot of bad reviews on the wait time and poor bedside manner, I almost canceled my appointment. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. First off, from the time I checked in until the time I saw the doctor, my wait time was only 20 minutes. In addition, everybody was very nice. Dr. Orr was very courteous, friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took time to answer all of my questions and I felt her proposed plan of care brought a level of expertise to my condition that many doctors, for years, just weren't able to provide because they weren't specialized. I sincerely wish I would have seen her sooner. To boot, I didn't catch the phlebotomist's name from Quest who worked in-house, but she was awesome. She was very friendly and very skilled. Everybody was just great.

I didn't find her to have the best bedside manner. I actually cried on my way out because I felt like a total crazy person after I left. She looked at my blood test result from referring doctor and diagnosed me but didn't feel the need to run any further test or educated me on the diagnoses. I was left to my own research to figure it out. She wasn't interested in listening to me explain how I felt, seemed like she knew it all.

She is not a nice woman. She was very rude to me and my daughter. She also used some inappropriate language with my daughter while telling her that she is a a good support person. I would not recommend her to anyone as she is very degrading to her patients. Her bedside manner is out of control and very rude.

She is not worth worth my time to comment.

I wouldn't take my dog to this idiot......
