Michelle L. Puzio-Bell, DO

I was searching for a new primary care physician and was referred to Dr. Puzio-Bell. She is a perfect doctor for my needs. She's personable, focused, easy to talk to, and most importantly she really listens. I'm very happy with Dr. Puzio-Bell and highly recommend her!

I went to Dr. Puzio-Bell because Loyola told me that my previous General Practitioner had left Loyola, and I needed to see a doctor, because my PSA levels were rising, and my cholesterol was "extremely high". When Dr. Puzio-Bell reviewed my information, she stated that my cholesterol was "extremely high", and ordered a full suite of blood tests, to see what was going on. I had the blood tests, but then insurance didn't cover it, because they said that Dr. Puzio-Bell coded it as just a wellness check, as if she didn't order it because my cholesterol was "extremely high". When I told my insurance this, they called Dr. Puzio-Bell about the coding, and rather than admit that she made a mistake, she said that it was properly coded as just a wellness check. So I was stuck with a $1395 bill. Following the blood test, it was confirmed by biopsy that I have cancer. I will not go back to Dr. Puzio-Bell, and will find a new General Practitioner.

Excellent listener, considered all options including my own desires regarding treatment. Treated me with respect, great follow up, instilled confidence that I was getting best care. Highly recommend.

I went there because I had a fungus issue in my sinus and it was making my head painful and swollen, she tried to give me a steroid that not only aggravated the problem but I was allergic to it and it closed my throat. She insisted that I continue to take it any way and when my throat got unbearable closed and was choking me I refused to take it and then she kicked me out of her practice writing me a letter not to return and then black named me all over Fauquier health and I have been treated bad by everyone of their health care providers ever since. This is a very wicked practicing group of doctors "Fauquier Health" including doctor Michael Ackerman and ENT Dr. Christopher Chang. I would not recommend them to anyone they have lost all their morals.

I've visited Dr. Puzio-Bell many times and would not consider seeing someone else. She is very empathetic and professional during visits. I am happy I found her!
