The best doctor I have ever gone to. Very caring and a good listener. When needed, she has referred me to some top notch doctors. She is very good at diagnosing and treating accordingly or referring to a specialist.

I've been seeing Dr. Rathgeb for nearly 20 years now. She is a wonderful doctor, and very knowledgeable about many conditions. She has diagnosed problems even before I've confirmed the diagnosis with a specialist, and she was right. She also always gives me plenty of time to express my concerns, and offers treatment options every time rather than ignoring my worries. The wait to see her as a new patient is very long, but VERY worth it!

She has been my Doctor for several years and I do not have a single complaint. Unfortunatley her office is very busy so sometimes a routine exam can take time to be scheduled. She selected a wonderful PA Mike Kuzma to work with her. Her staff is kind and thougtful.

There is not one con all pros. Not only did she save my life twice but always ledme in the right direction with her accurate dignoise. Very knowledgeable, understanding & caring. She is probable more concerned with my health than I am.I have been with her for 6-yrs now & she has made a difference.

Even though my wait time has been minimal in the waiting area, I hae experienced at least 20 min wait time in the exam room before being seen by the dr. During that wait time though and initially upon being called in, I have been weighed and have had a brief review of my medical chart for any changes and my vitals being taken. After that is when I've waited up to 20 minutes to have the dr atually see me. I am of the working poor that is fortunate to have healtcare coverage however, I do't get paid for the time I take off for a dr appointment. I always schedule my appointment for either the 1st or the last of the day. If scheduled for the last of the day, I call in advance to see how far bhind she may be. Yes, some may seem to think her staff is rude or apprut, I don't believe so. They are trying to be thorough and direct so there isn't any miscommuinication as to your understanding of what the dr. is prescribing for y ou. She makes thorough notes in your chart but you also… need to be proactive with your care by asking pertinant questions and reference your continual concerns so she further looks back in your chart. If you have a continual continual health complaint that she she hasn't addressed to your satisfaction, you need to verbalize it to her again. Honestly, I have worked in healthcare of over 25 yrs and my repore and care with Dr. Rahtgeb has been nothing but ecellant. Do't be afraid to voice your concerns about any side-effects of any meds you may be on, or ask any question you may have about your treatment. The next time you se her keep n mind that she is just as human as you are even though she chose to be a dr. If you don't understand the medical terms she uses ask her to reword what she is saying so you are able to undestand. I honestly believe that Dr Rathgeb isn't in her profession for the money; she is a dr because she truly cares and wants to help and make a difference. She doesn't have all the answers to everything and will admit it and so she and her staff will make the arrangements for you to see a spedialist when necessary. All I can say is that if you don't voice you concerns or questions to her, how can she effectively treat you? No matter how simple or unimortant it may se to you, still tell her. It gives her a better picture of what is going on with you. Let her know about your financial situation, tell her every thing. It doesn't mean you are weak, just giving her information to help treat you more effectively.

Dr. Rathgeb is an excellent doctor with exceptional bedside manners. I've recommended her to my whole family.

Dr Rathgeb takes her time to listen to what you have to say. She does not interrupt you and gives you options for care. I do not feel that she is dictating what I should do, but guiding me to the right choice(s).

Very good doctor. Does not rush you, listens to you and explains everything to you very well.
