Dr. Michelle Yvonne Roberts-Borden, MD

Dr. Roberts-Borden is an amazing doctor. She's one of the few doctors that I trust and feel comfortable with especially regarding my health. She takes her time to listen to my questions and she provides thorough solutions/actions that are needed. I would recommend her to anyone. She just that AMAZING!!!!

She’s amazing go and meet her for yourself. I have been here patient for at least 5 years I have found her to be compassionate and understand in every situation. However I’m also a kind person. I’ve never experience rudeness from her and I love her smile. She smiles a lot at the appropriate times. And she’s serious when needs be. I love my GYN

Dr. Robert-Borden laughed at me for asking questions in a pre-op appointment and in the post-op said that the process was too complicated for me to understand and would take too long to explain. She left no notice with the surgical nurses as to how my procedure went and did not respond until I physically arrived at a post-op two weeks later. She made jokes throughout each appointment even when I was visibly distressed and verbally expressed concern she laughed and said I have nothing to worry about it is no big deal and here's a pamphlet if I have any burning questions. Absolutely horrific treatment! Surgeries are NOT funny, neither is any gynecological issue. I should not be belittled by a doctor. (She even tried to use big words to emphasize how I couldn't possibly understand when I knew exactly what each word meant! She never asked my medical and educational background (e.g., "well we are waiting for the tissue to, what we call, reepithelialize, which is just too complicated to… explain") Lady I know what that means! Also you could just say the tissue has to reform and heal!

Dr. Roberts-Borden is the kindest doctor in this field that I have ever known. She was completely understanding of my medical needs and was sympathetic when I needed her to be. I would recommend her to any woman I know. I intend to take my daughter to her when the time comes.

I went in to start birth control and due to my blood disorder, I was limited to options. It took 40 minutes to get a room, and 15 for her to come in. She laughed in my face when I just curiously asked about getting an ablasion, told me I would "never" get my tubes tied. We decided on Mirena. I go on a Friday to get blood work done, go back on Monday(I planned it for my two days off work). The secretary asked if I took the before pill, which was never mentioned or given to me, and then blamed me and said I needed to be more responsible. They then scheduled me for that Thursday because it would be "better" for the doctor so she wouldn't be rushed the very next day, which had an opening. I call off work for Thursday and go for the iud, it was so painful I blacked out and she said,"Oh stop, it didn't hurt that bad.". Ended up going to the hospital for the 3 month straight heavy bleeding I had and the pain, after she didn't seem to care. Not even a full year and it ended up falling out.… Will never ever suggest her.

Dr. Roberts did not want to be bothered during my labor. She is rude and lazy. Overall I had a bad experience and I feel she is bringing down the practice.

I had an emergency question after the surgery that was done by Dr. who works in the same office as Dr. Roberts. The very first thing she said was, "How should I know why you're bleeding...I didn't do the surgery." Also, each time I had an appointment with her, she had real bad tone of voice when she is talking to you.

I have been seeing this doctor for gyno examinations from even before she received her Board Certification. Early on in her career she was careful and thorough, even with her offhand manner. I have no reason to doubt her competance, and I don't really care about her personality since I am not dealing with childbearing, but I have major issues with her diagnostic practice which has resulted in over $700 of charges for testing she ordered that my insurance won't cover due to the "diagnostic code". These were basic hormone tests that I have had several times before and were always covered. After several letters, the issue is still unresolved, no communication from her office except one phone call, then nothing. Very poor professional practice. For those who need post menopausal gyno service I suggest going elsewhere. This will also free her schedule for obstetrics which is needed for patients who are delivering.
