Dr. Michelle Dilig Sangalang, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. Her bedside manner was unacceptable—there was no care, interest, or empathy shown during my visit. The appointment felt rushed, my questions were dismissed, and she refused to properly go over my test results when posted on the UCLA medical platform.The physical exam visit ended abruptly when she left the room without explanation or closure. I have left her several messages and she responds with internet medical explanations of the blood tests! This experience was not what I expect from a UCLA physician and reflects poorly on the standard of care patients should receive.

I went to this physician hoping for some blood work and results to help indicate why I was feeling off. Instead, I received a distrustful and headstrong doctor who cared more about being right than listening to my health concerns. She made me feel like an idiot and that I was wrong about my own body. I received a diagnosis from another doctor and will NEVER go to this establishment again.

I had an 8:30 appointment and was told to come at 8:00 which I did. At 9:00, I was told michelle hasn’t arrived. It’s 9:30, and she still hasn’t arrived. If time is important to you, michelle is not your doctor

She is the primary for both my 18 year old and my 16 year old. She really takes the time to meet with them and address any concerns they may have. Great doctor, highly recommend.

Dr. Sangalang was the 3rd doctor I saw to help me get better after 6 weeks with bronchitis. She was patient, took the time to really listen and help figure it out. I was so pleased with her that I asked her to become my primary doctor.

I have been a patient at UCLA for 25 years. I have had amazing doctors and good doctors. Today unfortunately, I had the experience of being seen by "Dr." Sangalang. She has the worst bedside manners I have ever seen in a doctor. Ater a 3 minute consult, she basically left me to figure out my own diagnosis and decide whether I wanted to take Claritin or Zithromax??! Without letting me say anything she got up from her chair and left the room. My husband and I were dumbfounded! All I can say is that "Doctors" like that, should not be part of UCLA. Until today all my doctors at UCLA have been very professional, KNOWLEDGEABLE with excellent bedside manners.

After a move to the Palos Verdes area, I researched and tried several physicians for both me and my daughter. A friend referred me and my daughter to Dr. Michelle Sangalang and we've been so pleased with the relationship. Dr. Sangalang couldn't be nicer, more patient, smart and professional. The office offers wrap-around services like x-rays, derm and cardiology - all under the same new and clean roof. We love that this is a family practice in a convenient location and we can almost always get an appointment with OUR doctor. We've been so pleased.
