I admire Dr. Shelton because she listen, you do not leave her office until all questions are answered, caring attitude, knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and most of all care about her patients. I’ve been her patient for almost 4 years and I cannot imagine having anyone else. It is however difficult to get someone to answer the phones at times.

Been a patient of Dr. Shelton for years. Dr. Shelton is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. However, her staff ESPECIALLY her sister is very rude. She shouldn't be at the front desk and has the nerves to make you feel bad about questions. The MA is just as bad but does not have a bad attitude. They are slow with everything

ACCEPTS GARBAGE INSURANCE AND DOESNT CARE TO HELP PATIENTS

Dr. Shelton need a change of personnel! She has the worst staff there is. Phones are not answered. When they are answered, You are put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and then the phone hangs up. Can’t get an appointment or referrals. Great doctor ????, poor personnel. ??

Dr. Shelton is a pretty good doctor, however, her staff is very slow when it comes to important matters such as further testing or even giving test results. Her office staff have terrible attitudes and never answer the phone. I've been waiting over a week just for them to send and order for further evaluation. I feel like when it comes to your patients and their lives things should be taken seriously and there should be no procrastination. All I have ever experienced at this office is unprofessionalism and procrastination. Also, if you make an appointment for a certain time expect to be seen 2-3 hours later than your appointment time, which is ridiculous. Don't go here if you have a high standard and regard for your health. I'm very displeased with the service here. Currently looking for a new Primary Care Physician.

We are new patients to Dr Shelton....She as a doctor is very good, patient and explains things to you. I really wanted to give it a chance but her staff is beyond incompetent! After having bloodwork and exam done I tried contacting her for results since they do not update the kareo website, or call you with results. I called every other day... leaving messages for the Doctor or nurse to contact me....by the 3rd week got hold of the nurse and she said she would call me back on what dose to take meds.......she never called. On 4th week got hold of her and at first she didn't know what I was talking about til I kept telling her what she said she would do......she put me on hold for 25 minutes and came back and said dr escripted RX to pharmacy, last week, and to call them.....I called pharmacy and they had no escript or fax for RX.. called back and nurse said there was nothing she could do....she will talk to dr....I asked her to PLEASE have the doctor call me.....well...im still… waiting......this is unexceptable and sad...I cant imagine that the doctor is aware of her staff and is fine with their incompetence!!

You can never get anyone one the phone. If you have an appointment you are just as likely to get there and there be a note hanging in the door that they are closed and not seeing patients. No calls, no reschedules. You can count on being in that office at least 5-6 hours. If they are there and open the doors Dr. Shelton isn't there at times for hours. Her staff is rude and incompetent. Her sister sits at the front desk and purposely ignores people in the waiting room and we can Hear the phone ringing that never gets answered. Dr. Shelton only sees people at one hospital and doesn't round until about 2am-3am in the morning. That is not the way to treat anyone much less you patients or any sick person. Count on sitting in the waiting room at least three hours and in the back three more. I go in during morning daylight hours and come out to them unlocking the door to let me out in the dark.

Front desk Receptionist is the rudest "professional" ever encountered. She is the doctor's sister and does not get addressed for her lack of office and patient etiquette.

I have been a patient of Dr Shelton for about a year. I really enjoy being her patient but her wait time for appointments is bizarre. I had an appointment at 9 am and didn't go to the back til 11 am and didn't get seen til 1pm and did leave til 230. I understand that she takes time talking to her patient but the wait time is not good.Even trying to schedule an appointment is a problem I have to actually go to the office if I want a real person and not be on hold for hours.

I feel Dr Shelton is a good doctor, but at the same time i feel some of her patients get put by the waist side depending on where they live. My experience was with her Bartlett staff. They were so unprofessional and inconsiderate of my issues. They started questioning me as if I was not the patient, but someone who should have been great full when they did decide to answer the phone. Dr Shelton was never in. I left several messages. I called every other day for weeks. Always told message was giving to Dr Shelton, and that she would call me at the end of her hospital/patient rounds. Finally day of appointment. Long wait (no problem) saw doctor, test request, took test, waiting for test results from Dr Shelton. No call. No follow up. I had to do the homework that she and her staff should have done as my healthcare provider. Testimony (Patient First)
