Dr. Michelle Elena Toder, MD

I am going on 13 years with my gastric band. Dr. Toder has been with me all the way. I never have been able to do things the easy way. I have malrotation as well as a number of considerations. Dr. Toder weeded through all those and found solutions for me. I have been at least 150lbs. lighter ever since with improved health. I cannot thank Dr. Toder enough. -D

Dr Toder is very serious about who she chooses to help. She wants someone invested in their success. I am grateful for her help and support. God bless you

Not only did she not show any form of professionalism or any degree of medical confidence..she jeopardized my health by removing a Hickman catheter in my chest in a back closet while she sat on a garbage can..I was a RN for over 26 years and it horrified me and my family that she was even capable of being a doctor..I had to fight a huge infection from her careless acts and still to this day. my health was compromised by her poorly judged actions...my family was with me during this “visit”. Another time while I was an in patient , she was on call for that night and started to make changes in my health procedures without even reviewing why I had been there for over three weeks with a very serious and chronic genetic illness..since then, I have requested to never have her in my care.

Very intelligent surgeon, takes her job seriously and expects patients to do the same considering how dangerous this surgery can be. Very prompt.

Very thorough, sticks to high standards of care, expects the same from her patients.

I met with Dr. Toder because of complications, and was assigned to her. She was ill prepared and new nothing why I was there. Explaining her my issues was very difficult, because she was non receptive. and abrasive. She became combative, and rude that was hard reach her over her high horse. Dr Toder disreguarded another professional advice why I was having issues in telling me her report means nothing. I guess it was because in the findings, it stated I had a bad bypass that was performed there. She was not sypathetic, showed no compassion, and just browbeated me through the whole ordeal. In the end, I was brought to tears, because of fustration, and trying to hold back from unleashing on her. She is the most disrespecful, unprofessional Ive ever met, in my oppinion, she should not be in that profession.

I have found Dr. Toder a good surgeon, not real warm and fuzzy. My complaint is that it is difficult to get test results and return phone calls from the office. The staff are OK, again no empathy with patients

She has the WORST bedside manner and does NOT care about her patients, the way a doctor should. She is extremely rude, no compassion, heartless, etc. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone, as far as I am concerned, she is in the wrong business....

DR. TODER IS UP TO DATE ON NEWEST PROCEDURES AND INFORMATION. SHE IS A VERY CARING AND COMPASSIONATE PERSON WHO REALLY GIVES ALL. THINK TWICE HOWEVER ABOUT EMMC.
