Dr. Michelle Lauren Tom, MD

I brought my wife into the ER with symptoms of a minor stroke and a severe migraine. She is chronically ill and uses a wheelchair. She also has chronic migraines which causes light and sound sensitivity, so she wears wrap around sunglasses and headphones. Dr. Tom came into the room clearly already annoyed with the situation. She proceeds to rip off my wife’s sunglasses and starts poking her in the eyes and stretching them open while my wife is begging her stop because it hurts. Instead of STOPPING like any normal person would, she then holds down my wife’s arms and continues poking her. As my wife is crying and writhing in pain she then starts to aggressively lift up her legs and drop them and punching her legs as if she’s lying about not being able to use them?! THIS WAS ASSAULT. THIS WOMAN SHOULD NOT HAVE HER MEDICAL LICENSE. After my wife had been screaming for her to stop over and over again she just threw up her hands and said “so you’re refusing treatment?” She was scared for… life coming into the ER and then to be traumatized like this by a doctor is absolutely abhorrent. I am disgusted by the “care” she received. DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN NEAR YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES.
