Michelle Wyatt, MD reviewed scans and spent a majority of the time talking about my weight/obesity during this appointment. I understand that maternal weight can impact baby, and have had several conversations with my midwife regarding this. I felt the conversation was not helpful, productive or considerate at all. I left the appointment feeling very poorly about myself due to being referred to as "obese" and the term "obesity" being used over 25 times in the 15 minutes I spent with Dr Wyatt. Like I said, I get it's a factor. But given my medical history obesity is the least of my concerns when it comes to pregnancy and concerns for my baby. I think bedside manner could be significantly improved and taking into account mental health when having conversations should be also acknowledged with patients. I would not see Dr. Wyatt again unless there was nobody else available for care. She did not provide a safe or comfortable environment at all.

I truly feel like everyone cares about me, my husband, and my baby during the visits and at home via my chart messages and phone calls. It helps so so much and these individuals truly found their calling- caring for others! Super thankful

She explained everything very well, gave us risks and assurance. I felt she cared and did not skip over any concerns

Dr Wyatt did a great job at explaining what she saw and helped us understand the next steps in our journey.

This pregnancy is constantly compared to the last and this visit gave me mixed feelings on how my baby actually is doing.
