Born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Dr. Nuveen is a graduate of Colgate University with a major in Molecular Biology. He attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he earned his D.M.D. degree. Following a year of hospital-based general dentistry, Dr. Nuveen attended Temple University for his Orthodontic Residency where he received his Certificate of Orthodontics and Masters Degree in Dentistry.

Dr. Nuveen also has a twin brother, Erik, who is both a DMD and an MD. His sister, Jessica, is office manager of a busy plastic surgery office. And his mother was a Dental Hygienist.
