DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! This man’s ego is out of control. He convinced me to allow him to perform and unnecessarily risky surgery which left me paralyzed and permanently disfigured. I had spoken to him at length about several different procedures, and my concerns about each one. He misled me into thinking that a procedure had less risks than it actually did. In a moment of foolishness I allowed myself to be persuaded into an unnecessarily risky surgery. When his incompetence (combined with the high risk of the surgery he misled me about) left me paralyzed and disfigured, he sent me to a rehab hospital which he SWORE gave the best care, but I ended up developing bed sores while paralyzed, and was in unnecessary pain for months. I lost my job, lost access to parts of my body, lost my retirement fund trying to pay for all my new handicapped needs, lost my fiancé and future I’d been setting up, lost my ability to whistle and play musical instruments, lost my ability to speak clearly, and my… face is now mutilated. The worst part about it, was that no lawyer in Honolulu was willing to take my case because Morita does Pro-Bono legal testimonies for the lawyers when they want to sue any other doctor in Honolulu. I spoke to almost every lawyer on Oahu, and each one said that I had a strong case, but I needed to find a different attorney because they were all too afraid of losing their “cash cow” to pursue any legal action against him. I lost everything to this egomaniac, and the only thing I can do now is try my hardest to make sure he does not ruin any other lives. He has found a way to cheat the legal system so he never has to face any consequences when he makes negligent mistakes. Nobody should be above responsibility; especially not a surgeon. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR OHANA TO GO TO THIS “DOCTOR”! If you love them even a little bit, run far away from this man and find a competent surgeon.

Arrogant and money hungry Ruined my husbands life at 53!

I did my Gamma Knife procedure with Dr. Morita over 2 years ago for Trigeminal Neuralgia. It was the worst day of my life. He not only made the bad nerve worse he damaged the other two nerves. Dr. Morita does not take failure well. When I went back for my follow up appointments he ushered me out of his office saying I can't help you anymore go find a pain specialist. I cried and begged for help and he refused. I live everyday of my life in the worst pain that no one could imagine. I live on pain killers that most of the time do not work so I suffer day and night. I cannot sleep, eat, drive, work or do any of the things I could do before. I cry everyday. Dr. Morita ruined my life and he has no remorse or empathy. His office manager promised to call me and send me information on anything that may help me within a week I am still waiting over two years for it. I do not recommend anyone to go to him. He is a sorry excuse of a doctor and a human being. YOU RUINED MY LIFE MICHON MORITA.

Pituitary surgery Unsuccessful removal of a BENIGN CYSTE A Craniotomy ..,8 months later grew back Shoved a SHUNT in his brain .. overly aggressive Caused brain bleeding... almost went blind Had to RUSH to Johns Hopkins ... ENDONASAL 24 HOURS OF SURGERY... finally got the cyste Morita should have let us go to JH.. PITUITARY SPECIALIST!! He was WAY over his head!! Husband at 53 lost his career as VP of a company due to SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS injury And bleeding caused by MORITA!! Only go to SPECIALIST at mainland hospitals!! Don’t trust a cockey doc like Morita!! Said if we went to JH .. he wouldn’t be our doc here!!!! Trying to intimidate you!!! JH docs were the BEST!!!!!
