Dr. Mieczyslaw J Hetnal, MD

He was once my psychiatrist and also my brothers employers he was over prescribing his employer pain killers for years until he became delusional and over the course of 5 years still seeing dr hetnal and lost a multi-million operation and my brother became unemployed while battling diabetes and can’t afford his diabetic supplies. I’m not writing out of rage or angered just giving my feedback on my view and experience. I became insecure from his treatment from labeling me like a young Adolescent trying to obtain controlled substances when I was just trying to get help with depression and finding self value to myself. I developed PTSD and started viewing everything negative and disturbing because of not being able to find help or a solution to my disease.

A wonderfully caring Physician. I feel confident in his treatment plus I feel safe in his care.

Dr. Hental is amazing. He is one of a kind. IF you are looking for someone that is caring, someone that listens, and gives great care then Dr Hetnal is the doctor you want.

He's a listener yet strict at the same time. He'll tell you like it is and does so lovingly. He allowed me to determine my needs to a point. I know we are all different, but Dr. Hental was perfect for me! Such a loving and caring man!!!

Not a flat-liner as many psychiatrists can be. Very thorough and easy to talk to. He gave me reason to trust his assessment of the symptoms I presented with. Made it a point to check what other meds I was on that might interact with a med he wanted to prescribe for me. He did not push the med but left the choice up to me. I appreciated his non judgmental attitude about that. I feel safe under his care in following me. I would recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr Hetnal since 1990 and have seen my share of "shrinks".He has to be the most caring, compassionate, kind hearted doctor of any kind. Not to mention his vast knowledge of medicine is simply unique. He has helped me beyond measure.Thanks Doc

I would recommend Dr. Hetnal to my co-workers, family, and friends. He has consistently put me at ease, listened to my medication concerns, and follows up immediately by phone if he has concerns....ie, lab results. Excellent bedside manner, from shaking your hand and saying, "hello" to walking you back to appointment counter at the end of your visit. Dr. Hetnal will listen to you, answer your questions and above all, make changes in medications if you don't feel they are working.

He helped save my daughter's life. She returned from college very ill. One suicide attempt, 5 hospitalizations in 13 months and he worked with us through it all. He helped get her to accept her parents as part of her recovery (got a HIPPA release) and got her stabilized. He took calls in the middle of the night and was always there for us to achieve her recovery.
