Dr. Miguel Alfredo Castellan, MD

I changed to Dr. Miguel Castellan because the urologist I was taking my daughter to did not listen. She was rude and insisted I put my daughter on prophylactic antibiotics even though her hydronephorosis was not due to reflux. None of my research even supported that. I did not want to compromise her immune system or create antibiotic resistance. Dr. Castellan listened, was kind and emphatic and created a treatment plan I was comfortable with.(it did not include the antibiotics) Dr. Castellan is a wonderful man with a lovely bedside manner with the children as well as their parents. I cannot say enough good things! Thank you!

I am forever and extremely grateful for the care Dr. Castellan had given my son. In January 2015 My son was diagnosed with a congenital kidney obstruction. With the overwhelming shock and despair that I had, Dr. Castellan put my fears at ease not only for the present but for the future. Dr. Castellan took the time to clearly explain all of our options while expressing empathy for my son and I. At that time I really needed that. My son has made amazing progress after Dr. Castellan performed surgery and continues to thrive as Dr. Castellan continues to give my the same focus and attention during our follow up appointment as he did during time of surgery.
