Dr. Miguel A Firpi, PhD

Dr Firpi was the GAL in a family custody case involving my kids, where there was abuse involved and the GAL went above and beyond his call of duty to save my kids. He is very professional, do not pick sides and I highly recommend him. The negative reviews are from individuals that have problems, NOT the child best interest in mind, interesting enough that these bad reviews all go back to blaming the GAL, the other side, the judge...My experiences have shown Dr. Firpi to be a person whose focus is the well-being of the child and what is best for the child, he is an excellent, qualified, and reputable doctor. He is a highly respected by judges.

I am not surprised that the angry mothers/women posting hateful comments about Dr. Firpi are in the legal battles with their husbands. Do not be persuaded by their negative comments. If you want the truth (and the truth is sometimes hard to hear) and receive an excellent work go and see this man.

Complete disaster, unprofessional to the max. He is prepotent, a bully and the last thing is the kids interest, something different when it comes to his fees.

It' s very difficult to trust him. One never knows which side he is on. He is cold and agressive. He always gives the impression he believes you are lying. And he has desire in helping you. He just wants to get paid at the end of the day.

He does not believe in kids emotions and what they are going through!!

Dr. Miguel Firpi is an excellent, qualified, and reputable doctor. He is a highly distinguished and sought after professional in the community for his extensive experience, comprehensive knowledge, and high standing as an expert in custody issues and family matters. He was appointed to evaluate my teenage son, who suffers from attention problems and ability to focus, which has negatively impacted my son's academic standing. I met with Dr. Firpi immediately after learning that my ex had violated a court order to have my son tested for ADD. I was in the middle of the dilemma of finding a qualified expert who could test my son on an urgent basis (which is practically impossible, as it takes up to months to get an appointment for testing with a good expert). Dr. Firpi, putting my son's best interest in the forefront, while simultaneously saving me the expense of a court hearing, was able to get my son into testing with a reputable specialist the very next week. Dr. Firpi is intelligent,… knowledgeable, and resourceful. Moreover, he has held a high standing in the community for his professionalism for decades.
