If you feel like waiting for hours, wasting your time and simply look forward to get pills pushed at you, you have come to the right place. Hate this place. Walking out as I write this.

I waited in the office for 8 hours to see him for ADHD testing. He spent t less then 5 min with me and sent me off for sleep testing. A month later I went back per my GP's request to pick up the evaluation results. The office refused to give them to me. Don't go if you care for results.

I was a patient of Dr. Hernandez a few years. When I tried to go back and see him, I agree with the comment about the time. Not only does it seem that they schedule all the appointments at the same time, but the doctor keeps you waiting there for hours. The receptionist have no common courtesy to inform the patients that the doctor is running late. And on top of that, they give you attitude because you question the timing. I lost the entire morning and by the time I left which was close to 12:30pm the doctor was still not in the office. Professionalism goes a long way. If you are not able to make it to your office on top, train your receptionist to give the appropriate time around your schedule. Don't abuse the power you have as a doctor nor have people come and waste they're entire day for a 20 minute sit down. Very unprofessional and extremely thoughtless.

I took my mother to this "doctor " which is in another borough from where we live because his credentials seemed good and he speaks Spanish. What a mistake, it was a wasted day I will never recover and embarrasses me to be of his same culture. We waited 5 hours for my mother to be seen by him. He has no respect for his patients nor their time. He should be stripped of his medical license since by nature a psychiatrist should be caring, compassionate and communicative. He was annoyed with my many questions and fails to realize that there are educated Dominicans. It's too bad that others continue to go there simply because he is in their neighborhood and speaks Spanish.

Dr. Hernandez is, in my opinion, a sorry excuse for a psychiatrist. I went into his office in need of help. I pleaded with him to help me. In the end, he rejected me as a patient. How cold, to have someone sitting in front of you, crying, begging for help, and you offer them nothing. I think Dr. Hernandez is in the wrong profession.
