Dr. Miguel Angel Medina, MD

Dr Medina is a wonderful physician, he was kind caring, listened to all that needed to be said by me. However the front desk person was very rude and disrespectful to myself and other people who came into office. I could hear her on the phone and she was rude to the people calling in as well. She also let the phone ring a lot and did not pick up which I thought was odd. The nurse was great and very helpful as well as the young lady taking my blood pressure. I will recommend him to my family and friends but he should really do something about that front desk woman. That was unpleasant.

Dr. Medina is an excellent doctor, however, his staff are incompetent. I have seen him lose several patients because of his staff. The wait time is way too long. Wait times generally vary from 1.5 to 3.5 hours, but average wait time is over 2.5 hours.

This office has the most unprofessional nurse and office staff. I was waiting on a prescription, I had already been approved to have. I had to go out of town and so I left a total of SEVEN messages, with NO return calls. When I finally did get a hold of them, I was told it had been to long since my last visit, (3 weeks btw) and I would have to come in for another check up on order to receive the prescription that was already filled out on my last appointment. When I questioned the nurse, she said "You need to be quiet while I finish talking" I hung up immediately. Its really sad that Dr. Medina could probably be making double the money, if he had professionals working for him.

He is very nice, soft spoken, well mannered, and he listens. Always greets you with a smile and a handshake. He goes over your labs with you and explains everything to you in details so you understand it all. Gives his recommendation and he make sure to follow up on the recommendations. Believe it or not he actually have a sense of humor, which to me is always refreshing. I highly recommend him to everyone.

excellent doctor. But I too am very discouraged with the office staff. Not sure why the front desk staff takes bp and weight then answers phone for scheduling. I have never had a wait in the office but have not had phone calls returned. Considering looking for a new internist but also hate the hassle and paperwork.

Dr. is very nice and most of the staff. I called in as soon as the office was open to advise them of back pain which I thought was from a medication I was just put on. I never heard back from anyone the rest of the day. I called back in the next morning and had to wait until the nurse got in after lunch. When she called, she mentioned that in my voice mail from the night before I seemed upset! Well yes, I was in pain and didn't know what to take. She advised me that my situation wasn't 'serious' or 'urgent'! I told her that I guess when a person is in pain, they consider it urgent. I just started going to Dr. Medina and now I'm not sure if I made the right decision. I like Dr. Medina, he seems very caring about his patient but not too sure about this one nurse. I hate the thought of transferring to another doctor and all the crap you have to go through. Guess time will tell!

i ATTEMPTED 3 TIMES TO become a new patient of Dr. Medina's , all 3 times were met with rude, disrespectful and down right offensive office staff. After filling out and sending in new patient packet, called to find out about when I could get an appointment, and was abrubtly told , " That is up to US, WE will call you when we want to make an appointment for you". when just the day before when picking up the paper work, which i was told would be faxed to me days earlier. I asked about appt wait time and was never told it was up to them not me. The Doctor from what i am told is EXCELLENT. but he by far has the WORST staff of any practice in the state.

Dr is OK+ Office Staff is horrible.... non-professional, never follows up, lies to CYA.

This doctor is great, but his office staff is down right incompetent! He is overbooked, so wait times at the office are very long.
