I can’t say enough about this doctor. His bedside manner, clear and succinct answers to my questions, thorough and never rushed through our meetings is so critical to this cancer patient. His history with Moffit also is noteworthy. As I have told my family, “He gets me”. If you are looking for the best, here he is.

Dr. Pelayo is outstanding. So knowledgeable & very sincere. Truly provides the absolute best care. Takes as much time as needed to fully explain everything. He cares about his patient’s overall health, not just cancer specific issues. We’re very glad he is my husband’s doctor. He works extremely well with all doctors on my husband’s care team. When my husband was diagnosed, Dr. Pelayo was our first appointment. Every dr he referred us to for various treatments/surgery felt like the best of the best.
