Dr. Miguel Rivera Torres, MD

I am currently seeking a new endocrinologist, because Dr. Rivera's office staff has given my husband and me more grief than we can bear. They put us on hold on the phone, but never get back to us, and are not at all friendly. And we've noticed that there is quite a bit of turnover in the staff. We always have to wait at least a half hour, and often more for our appointments. It's sad that such a good doctor cannot keep a good staff.

Wonderful, caring doctor for me for over 20 years. His appointments run behind because he takes a long time with each patient. He is also overbooked, sometimes 3 people scheduled for the same time. But, I like him enough that it's worth the wait. I just know I need to allow about 3 hours of my day for that appt. he calls back quickly when you call him after hours. If you're admitted to the hospital overnight, he is in your room at 8 am to see you.
